We provide Home Modifications Assessments for individuals and families that are requiring improved accessibility and safety for people with reduced mobility.
We work with self-funded individuals and families, DVA patients, NDIS participants, and those living in Public or Community Housing. We are qualified to complete both minor and complex home modifications assessments for NDIS participants.
User Assessment
We will undertake an assessment of those who will be using the environment to understand their capacity, needs and preferences. Sometimes there may be options other than home modifications, such as assistive equipment.
Environment Assessment
If home modifications are indicated, we will provide an assessment of the environment to identify what barriers exist, and what solutions can be offered to increase the accessibility and safety for the user/s.
CONCEPT DESGIN
We will create concept designs which show what options are possible within the space. This will involve consultation with the end-user, building owner and other relevant stakeholders.
Quotes
We will then obtain quotes from builders to complete the work. We may also require quotes from an engineer and architect, depending on the nature of the modifications.
FUNDING
We will submit our assessment, concept designs and quotes to the relevant funding authority.
Build
We will submit our assessment, concept designs and quotes to the relevant funding authority.
PRICING
All clinical services are charged at a standard rate of $193.99 per hour.
We utilise funding from the Improved Daily Living category in NDIS Plans.
